  21. Not exactly.  He has repeatedly stated things like "there are some very powerful
  22. chipsets out there" (ie. not necessarily for the PC, and certainly not
  23. exclusively for the PC) that we could use.  And "off-the-shelf mainstream
  24. components are more cost-effective" (ie. cheaper because of larger production
  25. quantities), and "even OCS can do some things that no other chipset today can
  26. do".  But never "the PC's chip technology is better".

  28. What the hell *is* "the PC's chip technology" anyway?  The chips are mostly the
  29. same, it's just that Amiga users don't always need graphics cards while PC users
  30. do so the boards are cheaper in the PC market.
